Under direct but not constant supervision, and in accordance with current policies, standard practices, procedures, and provisions of the Company's Labor Agreements, to perform payroll and payroll related work requiring the use of judgment and responsibility, the exercise of attention to accuracy and detail, and the ability to meet exacting time schedules; and to perform related work as required. In this connection, as assigned, to perform details of work, such as, but not limited to:
Process employe time reports and payroll distributionreports. Review, balance and initiate corrections torelated computer and other reports.
Maintain overtime and absence records and prepare other reports, as required.
Develop information and answer inquiries with respectto payroll information reported and recorded, and to computation of pay.
Prepare, as directed, the necessary forms and reportsrelating to employe data, statistics, and other payroll and personnel records.
As directed, assist in training and in reviewingand checking the work performed by other Central Payroll Clerks.
Perform related clerical assignments as directed.
SPECIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
To hold as confidential all payroll and related information. For care in use of office equipment.

QUALIFICATIONS:
Graduation from high school.
Four years of experience in clerical work..
Demonstrated ability to perform detailed clerical work.
