TITLE: BUILDING SERVICES ADMINISTRATION LEADER ORGANIZATION UNIT: Supply Service - Building Service APPLICABLE TO: St. Louis City/County

 

DUTIES:

 

Under indirect and intermittent supervision, to perform a full range of work of a more difficult and complex nature. In the absence of supervision, to serve as a leader in assigning and reviewing the work of other employees. To assist in preparation of budgets for the department. To initiate, track, and report on contracts and purchase orders. To assist in directing and to perform details of work such as:

 

Coordinate, develop and train employees on new/update software packages.

 

Handle, personally, the more complex complaints, requests, and inquiries directed to the administrative staff.

 

Investigate and resolve billing issues associated with invoices and credit cards.

 

TRIS Administrator. Check for accuracy and analyze allowed time, absence, sickness, and overtime entered in TRIS.

 

Development of procedures for improving administrative workflow. Prepare reports as assigned.

 

 

SPECIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

 

For the accuracy and correctness of the work of those under his/her leadership.

 

For holding as confidential information related to department employees, statistical data, budget information, and other information deemed to be confidential.

 

 

CONTACTS:

 

Telephone, email, and personal contacts with customers, architects, contractors, builders, etc.

 

With supervisors and other employees in various departments in connection with information related to budgets, contracts, purchase orders, etc.

QUALIFICATIONS:

 

-High school graduate or equivalent.

 

-3 years experience as a Building Service Control Clerk.

 

-Ability to develop, calculate, and compile statistical data with a high degree of accuracy.

 

-Demonstrated leadership ability.

 

-Candidates must be able to perform the essential functions of the job with or without reasonable accommodation, The Company will provide reasonable accommodation in appropriate circumstances when consistent with applicable law.
